Expo Cibao: Energy for a competitive country

There are many factors playing at the moment to achieve competitiveness in a country: economic stability of the nation, level of education of the population, innovation work capacity of its work force and the dynamism of investments are some of them. Not withstanding any country will be able to develop its economy if does not have a system of energy supply that allows the companies to perform their activities at a reasonable cost in order to be efficient.

In this occasion the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santiago, Inc. within the celebration of the twentieth first version of Expo Cibao promoting the necessity that in our country could exist a sustainable energy system in time over its competitive costs, opposite to the current reality that means a comparative disadvantage.

Expo Cibao in its beginnings was a regional fair today became a multi sector event and of international characters that promotes the entrepreneurial exposition as a mean of development and growth. This year the event is celebrated under the slogan of ‘Energy for a competitive country’, in the interest to contribute with the search of the creation of a system that will provide a quality energy, supplied at a competitive prices guaranteeing the environmental sustainability and the economical development of the country.

In its twenty one years the event had the most important element at the moment to achieve sustainability on time: support and confidence of the Dominican business world and the public that visits it. They are the ones who make this commercial event not only a business center company to company or company to client but an activity where the cultural and educative part is expressed at a high level.
